Walami Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful 12 acre retreat located minutes from downtown Yanceyville, NC. We are 15 miles south of Danville, VA and just a short drive from both the Triangle and Triad. Home to an endless variety of wildlife, you never know what you might see looking out from your hammock on the porch. We recently spotted a gorgeous albino deer and river otters!

The Trails
Several miles of trails wind into and out of Walami Wildlife Sanctuary, weaving their way to Yoder's Country Market in Yanceyville and up to Firetower Road. If you choose to stay at the Executive Inn, you can pick up the trail at the rear of the inn property and walk to The Clubhouse.
Headed to the lake to spot some turtles and otters.
Headed to Yoder's to buy some fresh bread and cookies.
Follow the wonderful organ and piano music and end up at the Senior Center.
Stop for a photo session on one of the many wooden bridges on the way to see the Firetower.
